The space functions as meeting and relaxing spot for the office employees. It also hosts nomikai, a place where people can relax and drink after work. The overall atmosphere was to be warm and welcoming with the colors and the wood furniture

Sashimono Bar Stool
Sashimono refers to the style of Japanese woodworking technique where the wood is joined without nails into a perfectly fitting slot and key pattern
The furniture tend to last much longer than ones joined using metal fittings. There is a lot of restrictions on the type of joinery that can be used based on its function. This restriction gives the furniture a unique look and charm, focusing on the materials, the grain of the wood and highlighting the craftsmanship

Minimalistic design, strong, stable but can also be disassembled and flat packed to aid in transportation and moving
Can also be customized to meet the requirements of customer with changes in the dimensions while not complicating the production line

Hotel
A brand new upcoming luxury hotel designed by the legendary architect Shigeru Ban. The massive wood like structure is a signature trademark of his style. The hotel is based on the concept of refined Japanese design and wellness. It features 4 restaurants, Indoor and outdoor pool and wellness centre. It has 50+ rooms ranging from twin bedroom style to grand suites.
My role was contributing to the interior design of some of the rooms and common areas, CAD layouts and overall rendering.

TEDx Awaji 2025
The huge “TEDx Awaji” letters are made out of polysterene and it is supported by the structure made out pvc tubes for lightness and ease of assembly. It is also covered in special paint which makes it invisible due to lighting and the TEDx letters appear to be floating in air

Tale of Pompoko
Designed and constructed the set for the play “The tale of Pompoko vs Kitsune”. The show was held in the Naminoritei theatre in Awaji, Japan. The budget was very limited as it was an experimental show and had to best with what was available.
